Let me first state that I'm not that technical. I really don't know the jargon or terminology.

Is there a special term for this type of internet-based website:

http://www.vrbo.com
http://www.selfstorage.com

These are vehicles for simply putting suppliers (i.e. vacation home owners & storage facility owners) in touch with customers.

Also, is there a special terminology for this website:
http://lendingtree.com

In the above case, a customer attracts "offers" from lenders who make home loans.

I really haven't found much on this forum or in the 4HWW that touches on these types of internet business platforms.
