If you have a mac you just just go 'Print to PDF'.

If you have Microsoft Office, just get the plugin.

In Microsoft Word 2007, it's as easy as clicking "Save As" and choosing Adobe PDF.

Good luck!

http://pdf995.com/ offer a "print to pdf" option to any printable document.

Not sure how far the free version works now but it is probably worth the money if you become a big user! I have used it for quite some time before switching to mac.

You're looking for a great PDF program and the one I use is NitroPDF Professional. I find that it gives me everything you can ask for including combining pages and making pdf forms. Take a look and see what you think.
