Hello All,
Has anyone considered doing something with another person? I am completely fascinated by this whole idea but at the same time it's over-whelming. This is a whole new world to me. I am all about team work and have the time to put into this but don't know if it would be an ideal situation. More people = more ideas?? I live in the Minneapolis area.
Just a thought...

I would be interested in collaborating with someone. I just graduated from college, and I am working on campus this summer. Since campus is dead all summer I basically have 8 hours a day to research muses. I have come up with a handful of ideas and I am trying to find which ones would be most effficient. My main problem right now is debt from school, so start-up cost is a concern. I agree with Charlie that teaming up with smart like-minded people is invaluable.

One idea posted so far caught my eye, and that is number three on Charlie's list. I think I could help with a program for students by adding information I gained after falling behind due to transferring schools. I went searching for ways to catch up and ended up graduating in three years (I could have done it in 2.5 but decided to lighten the course load). If I would have know at the onset some of the time- and money-saving techniques that I used. I could have done it in 2 years and possibly sooner.

If anyone is at all interested in collaborating you can email me at kmsmith5@buffalo.edu

This is wonderful! Charlie, I really like ideas #1 and #3. I don't know much about #2 but it sounds interesting I am open to suggestions. I am a huge health and fitness person! I am a long distance runner and believe in the more holistic/organic way of living. I like the #3 idea as well because it could bring plenty of good to the education/learning part of the world. Where can we start? I don't have a whole lot of start up money at the moment either but I have time and a lot of motivation. I truly plan on living the lifestyle of Tim. You can email me at jbulson@comcast.net

I have 3 fairly mature muses ready to go with websites and 2 more that are related that will be ready to go in 2 weeks. Each should be able to to between 15 to 50k per month. Would love to discuss and possibly partner up with intelligent like minded people.

I have been reading the book over the last few days and it is mind blowing. I may have to reread some sections to make sure I am absorbing everything. I too am interested in possibly partnering with a small group of like minded individuals, my current job is with a company that outsources customer service contracts based in Utah. In addition I have been involved in rolling out a home agent program over the last two months, which has been quite successful.

Please feel free to e-mail me at ravenfire77@gmail.com

In addition its important to remember that obviously working in a team environment takes commitment and organization to be successful. I also have an extensive amount of experience with collaborative software, in most cases you can find it free or for very low cost.

Hi Folks,

Looks like there's some good things going on in the Minneapolis area. I would like to keep the ideas flowing so is any interested in meeting up to keep motivating each other and sharing ideas?

I personally have tried to find backers for my ideas but find it to be like pulling teeth to get people to part with their money so I've decided to go it alone but would love to meet others to share my thoughts, skills & ideas.

If interested, please contact me utilizing the board...

Just thought I'd throw my hat in the ring...

I live in Quebec, Canada; I'm a third year medical student, with a passion for the following:

Anti-aging medicine/evidence-based medicine
Psychology, Persuasion
Social Interaction
Self-Improvement
Travel? :)

Some authors I love:
-Steve Pavlina
-Tony Robbins
-Kevin Hogan
-David DeAngelo
-Tim Ferriss as of late!

One area I think would be great to design a product in, is in creating a COMPLETE supplement. Energy drinks are often nothing but caffeine and sugar. "One-a-day" supplements are nothing but vitamins. There is room for tremendous progress here. Also, the practicality of supplements could be improved in several ways.

So if anyone wants to brainstorm, plan, ask, share, my email is paultheo2004@yahoo.ca

Hi everyone,

I run an online store on the side which right now is not making much money because due to perosnal and family matters I have not been able to devote more time to. My store sells beauty products and I am looking to turn that into an international supplier and manufacture my own line of both health & beauty products or supplements.

Anyone who has experience or an interest in health, medicine, cosmetics, organics, or wants to chat about creating healty supplements and beauty products or sites or just wants to chat about their ideas please give me a shout.

I have about 13 years of IT experience including web development but not from a programmers standpoint although I managed development teams but more from a program/project manager's standpoint. I also know allot about sales, direct selling, and the web in general.

I'm still reading Tim's book so I have not gotten as far as some of you but I started my business a few months ago with the goal of getting out of the employment rut.

Diglyd,

What do you mean by not making "much" money? Something like that scares a newbie like me - b/c from a design standpoint, it seems like your webpage is doing everything right. I like your focus on natural products and your webpage is, quite frankly, beautiful! It looks very professional. I don't get that "fly by night" design sense that you get from a lot of e-commerce websites - your page is extremely classy looking. How long has it been up and running? If anything - I would just assume that you are offering too wide an array of products, and maybe that's why things aren't selling as much as you would like? Unless you already started small and built up to the level you are at now? I don't understand how you are not "raking in the dough" though - just from looking at your page - it looks world class!

If you don't know anything about search engine optimization then these are the kind of mistakes that can sink you. Your designer has used pictures to create really pretty text that's completely non-exsistant to the search engines because they are pictures and not text. Tell your designer to fix it and if he gives you any excuses I'd start looking for a new designer. Good luck

Laniers,

Thank you for that link to the domain tools. I just ran my reatail business site through it and it did pretty well. Now I know what the search engines see and why that site works. If you click on my name here at the top, it will tell you that site's name and give a contact email at work.

I need to keep that in mind while I design my muse site. I am currently reading everything I can get my eyes upon to learn about affiliate marketing so I can market my info products that way. I have used direct mail and magazine advertising since 1991 but not don't much with it on the internet.

diglyd,

I'd be happy to bounce ideas with you...and anyone else on this site. My email here is cschenk (at) cinci (dot) rr (dot) com

I'm trying to avoid the spam bots.

I'd be interested in a partnership with someone.

I'm a Televison Producer at a small station in Atlanta. Shoot, edit, Produce, write etc so this seems like the natural medium for me. Plus the station is really cheap so I know how to produce a video on a shoestring!! (I'm working on a documentary now thats an hour and cost us about $700 - thats out of pocket expense, not time).

I am pretty busy though so I'll have to be a bit picky. Producing a video takes time, especially the editing- but it has a higher perceived value than an ebook so you can sell it for more.
