Guys,

I am in the mortgage business and want to know if you guys can help me with ideas ti get my work week down to a minimum. This job will eat you alive with long hours and tons of work. Can you guys think of any creative ideas to get leads and close them and still have my cake and eay it too

Here is my idea: You are the guy that gets everything done in the a.m. Busy clients who don't want to interrupt their workday can meet with you at 4am, 5am whatever, just don't call after ten. You work from 4 to 10am, and let your drones do all the paperwork from 9-5.

thats a good one. Not many people up that early and a majority of the day is spent prospecting

Hire an assistant so you can focus your time on prospecting. Once you take an application turn it over to your assistant to load into your LOS software, pull credit, price out, print RESPA. Then all you do is pickup the full package sell the customer, then turn it back over to your assistant to handle it from there.

Drew,

You sound quite knowledgable. What type of prospecting are you using. I was considering live transfers but not sure they are worth the money. Any tips??

I have several different things I try to do, I have a pretty basic business plan that I stick to. If you have about 20-30mins over the weekend or next week i would be happy to talk to over the phone and give you some advice that has helped me out, and answer any questions that you have.

If you are interested please send me in a PM your first name, phone, good time to talk and answers to the following questions:

1) states you are licensed in
2) how long you have been in the business for
3) units closed per month for the past 6 months
4) current compensation plan/split
5) do you process your own files or have an in house processor
6) number of units you would like to close a month
7) do you currently have any network partners (ie.. realtors, insurance agents)
8) current marketing provided by employor and/or marketing you do on your own
