Manufacturers

Hey there.

I am currently looking at manufacturers in my area.

If my adword campaign works, I will have a local manufacturer make my product so I can ship it out ASAP.

Now once this is done, I was thinking of having my stuff manufactured in Asia. I figure once the business is handled by a fulfilling house, they would have an inventory so the long slow boat shipments from, let's say pakistan, would arrive a month later. But there would'nt be any rush since the fulfillment house would have backup and would know when to order (a month in advance of estimated running out of stock).

Does this make sense?
Would it even be any cheaper that way?
Does anyone see a flaw in this?

I am currently looking to run an online store but i don't want to have the inventory in my home office I was hoping to find a company that will handle all the fulfillment and orders online... any ideas ?

Yes I looked on that site.

Found one. I will call it tomorrow to see how they work.


And what do you mean by orders online?
I don't think they can take orders. But some can receive your orders. Doug for example (in the book) he just sent via e-mail the 10 orders of the week and said to "ship to these 10 people"
