Wow, I can't believe it's been two years since my last post!
No, I was not able to start a sustainable muse, so I'm still doing my special fx make-up gigs along with my regular gig. Hey, I may not be generating tons of income off of those gigs, but I love my career(s). :)
Oh, I also recently became almost debt free; almost there.
I met a very nice young lady (7 years younger) and we've been together since just about when I posted last! :o
She's not part of the 4hww, but we've shared several mini-retirements together in Vegas, San Luis Obispo (her hometown), which up to that point, I'd never been to SLO. I really like the central coast.
This January, me and one of my younger siblings are going to go and visit our Grandmother in Guadalajara, Mexico--which will include free room and board (having family in a foreign country rocks). Then we're moving the party down to Mexico City to visit the pyramids, and then onto Guanajuato to visit the mummies. After all of that, back to Guadalajara and a brief stop in the city of Tequila to check out the agave fields...and buy some tequila. :D
I was originally supposed to go last time out, but I forgot what happened, and I was not able to go. This time around, I have no choice, I already bought my ticket(s). It's on!
Honestly, what made me want to jump on this was I recently came across my passport. It was still in mint condition. Never been stamped. :( I got depressed for a moment, and decided to just order the plane tickets. They were priced very cheaply from Mexicana airlines, and include food and all you can drink alcohol! I'm so in.
We'll be going in late January for about 3 weeks.
Me and the GF have started setting cash aside for a 2011 trip to India. That one will take a little longer, because money has to be set aside, and vacation time must be refilled with regards to my employer. No big deal, I have an awesome employer.
The India trip will be about 3 weeks as well. I'll probably fit in several mini-retirements leading up till then. I'll keep all of ya'll updated on the adventures of cheez! lol
It's great to be back!!!!!
