Hello, folks. I would like to connect with other Canadians trying to automate their lives who face the same problem I do: most services I've found exclude Canadians or otherwise don't work well for Canadians.

I would love to start a Life Automation blog/forum especially for Canadians. I would do that if I knew of 50 or so such people who would contribute to it. If you have even one good story about automating some aspect of your life, I'd like to know about it.

Please reply and make yourself known!

Hey jbrains,

I am a proud Canadian and would definitely welcome a forum for Canadians, although only if it's for specific Canada related post. I really like getting the feedback from all over the world cause it's a nice reminder that not everyone thinks the way I do.

I'm not really sure what you are referring to about services not working for Canadians. I'll admit, I'm in the very early stages of muse development (ie. I'm just starting testing next week), but I've scouted out potential companies to drop ship my stuff and they all seem to work for Canada.

Also, your muse can be form Canada, but only do business in the US since all companies will work there. Does your muse have to be specifically for Canada?

I don't know how to interpret the phrase "muse development" yet, because I haven't read the entire book yet. I know, based on the Derek Sivers notes, that I already use and want to use some of Tim's life automation ideas. I need this because I travel sporadically but extensively as part of my work, like the 11-week trip I find myself on right now.

I've identified two major bottlenecks for me: incoming mail in general, and incoming cheques in particular. I have already asked EarthClassMail.com about Canadian service, and need to read their response in my "Respond" file. I don't know what to do about incoming cheques for the moment.

I'll let this thread go for another week or so before deciding my next step. I had in mind a forum specifically designed for Canadians to help each other find automation services that help Canadians.
