New career, New student

So, I just moved to change careers and I now have some more debt due to loans. I love this book and would like to apply his theories to my life. I have an uncommon career as a sound editor and I am wondering if anyone has suggestions on how to liberate myself from long hours in a day when I have to be the one performing the work? Not to mention my responsibility to paying back my loans.
