Hi, wanting to get a VA but I know I would seldom use it except for a few critical time consuming tasks. Where can I find a VA that I can hire for a particular task and simply pay that VA for the hours taken. This would work much like contracting.

You could do that through Elance, or all the major freelance outsourcing sites I believe.
