Just finished the goldmine that was 4HWW. Great read. However, my muse creation needs a little help.
After graduating college in 08, I found the market to be less than friendly, especially to psych majors with only a bachelor's degree. In between working as a teaching sub, I did a series of odd, manual labor temp jobs.
Now that those have ended, the summer has left me jobless for all practical purposes. I have student loans worth $100 per month, and must pay for my own health care. Bottom line, I have about $500 to my name.
I live with my parents, and fortunately for me, rent and food are not an issue. The one thing I am quite wealthy in, however, is free time. How can I get help to start a muse that will dig me out of this current predicament?
Startup funds are practically non-existant and unfortunately, I can't depend on family for a loan. If I was able to find another temp job, I would have done it already, but the crackerjack idea was, why not start something myself.
One idea I have is for a three-part informational book and DVD series. The theme is on physical fitness and self-defense, essentially, how to become a modernday warrior.
I am not a warrior. I can't bench much more than my bodyweight and only did minor boxing in college. Yet I know what I would want to be trained in if I were looking for such a program (It's on my dreamline).
1. How can I produce this muse effectively with as little start up money as possible?
2. Most of my work could be cut out for me if I was free to bogart various fitness routines, diet plans, and martial arts techniques, ect. I have come across in various publications. Are these subject to copyright or are they public domain due to the fact that one can't really copyright jujitsu or copyright telling someone to eat a turkey sandwich?
