I'm finishing up my newly built site for my muse, based on some recommendations. If you could take a look and let me know if there's anything you suggest or changes that would be beneficial, it would be appreciated.

I really like your site. I love the colors and the way it looks, very easily navigable. You have a couple FAQ's that are blank when you click on them, though. I think it looks very professional.

One other page was missing info. All it said was "who" at the top of the page. I think it was intended to be the "about rich" page. Great job. Did you design it yourself?

Seems to have a virus on your site. Maybe not, but mine pops us as "downloader" and the site takes a long time to load.

Let me know.

How did you navigate to the "Who" page?

Gakins, I've never had that occur, I can't explain it.

I found the Who page, looks like I messed something up, thanks to bringing it to my attention.

for everyone else, please just navigate via the main menu, not the prev and next buttons

I just clicked on the link you provided. I did it again just now and it appears to be fine. Maybe it was a fluke but I wanted you to be aware of it.

Again, looks ok now.

Your site looks great by the way. Best of luck in your endeavor.

I've gone back and forth as to whether it needs more images. I'd like to use some to liven it up a bit, but I don't want to break up or distract from the content. Any opinions?

I think you are right that it would distract from the content. It looks really professional as it is. Did you design it or did you outsource it?

I bought a template I liked, then told an outsourced developer what I wanted, it's built using the CMS Joomla. So both I guess.

RichB,

I like your site!! :)

Very clean and professional looking.

One thing that stands out that I see right away that you may want to change is:

I may be overanalyzing, but when I see the headline of your website, which is attached as an image to this post, I read...

"TIME TO DESTROY THE COMPETITION.

Think again."

That's' what my brain picks up initially.

The "Think all you need to reach your potential as a triathlete is endurance?" Gets blurred into the headline.

I'd space it out a bit or use different colors to separate the two somehow.

I'll look it over a little more and post later as well.

I really like the overall look and feel of your site!

I got the same thing so I closed the window and didn't want to click on links further. I'm using IE 6.0 if that helps. If you've fixed the "virus" thing, I'd like to take a look at the site some more.

Could you send me a screen shot of that Downloaded thing? I've never been able to duplicate it.

No one I've asked (5) has any sort of trouble like what is described. If anyone gets an error like this I'd like to know exactly what generated it (what were you doing) and a screen shot would be great.

I went to browsercam.com and accessed every page in my site with every OS and browser since Win 98 and saw nothing like what was described. There's no virus.

Any other opinions I'd appreciate.

Rich

When I opened your site, my virus software gave me a warning of possible threat (that is the first time I have ever gotten a warning for any page) so you better check and see what is going on that way. I didn't get to look at your site that closely because it locked up my computer.

I think the site looks ok, but for some reason it reminded me of a youtube video I saw the other day. This is suppose to be humorous and not against what your doing at all but thought people might like it.

Norton doesn't give any problem, what are you using that is giving an error?

That video was very interesting indeed. Shocked at the number of views for a video like that. Almost 1.4 million. LOL

This website crashed my computer when I opened the page! I got a virus and fortunately I had McAfee to protect my files, but it still crashed my computer and I had to reboot. I have nothing against this guy and I am not trying to sabatoge his muse, I am just reporting the facts.

Sorry to hear there's something potentially buggy with your site. :(

I got your pm, but I'm travelling and couldn't respond sooner.

Hope you understand that I'll wait till this issue is worked out (as I'm sure it will) before I check it out and give you feedback.

I'm sure this isn't something you're doing, but perhaps your hosting company has some practices that are causing this? Hope it stops, so you can focus on muse testing w/o this hang up!
