Hello,

I read Tim's book over a year ago and have been reading the posts in this forum for just as long. Learned alot. I didn't exactly follow the books advice for cost and time frame (designed my own website but product cost/size/creation was bigger) but I finally have product made and I have ramped up the marketing efforts.

I would love to get members from this forum's opinion on the site:

www.score100goals.com it's a hockey training device.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would also like to add that I used elance based on Tim's advice to create an iPhone and iPod touch application. In no way am I computer programmer or even thought this was possible before re-reading Tim's book for about the 4th time. So thank you Tim.

I feel it will be a great way to market the site and also generate interest in the product since it's tied in. If anyone would like to see the cross promotion I tried, the app's name is Hockey Sniper and the url is:

www.itunes.com/app/hockeysniper

If anyone is thinking of doing something similar please reply and I can detail the steps I took starting from knowing nothing of the process.

Thanks,

Brett

Just joined the 4-Hour Workweek forums and saw your post. I have an idea for 2-related muses. In my case, the iPhone app (or other software platform) is the larger "product". The other muse idea is more of a learning/how-to product that may lead customers to the software app. I'm still trying to confirm that the market size is big enough to start investing $.

Can you share a bit about your process for finding a developer and getting an app published? Did you publish in your name or under the developer's name?

Thanks,
Dave
