Started testing. Edited to remove post because I don't want to skew my analytics when analyzing page views. I need to know "real customers" are making it to my "buy now" page and not my helpful message board comrades.
Thanks.

Wow! I think that your one-page "sales site" looks hot. Your graphic design really seems just the right layout, colors, photo, testimonials.
I think the "click here for price" gets lost on the 1st page. Matter of fact, I didn't even see it. But I clicked back here to your post, to see what your main questions are, and realized, "What price?" So perhaps it should be a different font color than pink, or a graphic/button? Also, maybe the price link should be in different places for people like me who are still getting their 1st cup of coffee in, and not all that alert.
As far as "is the price right," I really can't say. I'm not a mommy. BUT I do think that it's priced low enough that someone might consider this a good impulse buy, or a GIFT. So for that reason, I think the price now is attractive.
I'm so used to those black/red w/ yellow "highlight" font sites, that I was totally surprised by yours. Now you've changed the way I think about the one-pagers.
Well done!
Is this your personal product or have you licensed it to sell? Just wondering.
I am a mom of two girls ages 4 & 2 I think the price might be a it steep. I can imagine that if I just had twins I probably wouldn't have a lot of extra money lying around. I might make it right under $100. Maybe like 95.99 or something like.
Anyway, that's my two cents. Best of luck!

Thank you sooo much for the feedback. You are so dead on with this comment. I don't know if I was just too bleary eyed last night but after reading your post I went back and looked at it and was like, "what the heck? That sucks!" Thanks again for the critique!! Maybe you wouldn't mind popping back on the site to check out the new button? Would you have noticed that or do you still think it needs work (the web is not what I do... I work almost exclusively in print)

I'm a web developer and am of the opinion that when it comes to design, the simpler the better so I like your site and it's pleasing to the eye. I like the 1-2 page design becuase it get right to the point and like I said, keep it simple stupid (kiss)
I've got a question, why not put the pricing option on top? I always see that I have to go all the way down to the bottom but if I'm interested before I get to the bottom I want to know the price now so is there some design reason for this? Am I wierd for thinking that people would want to purchase and see the pricing information on top?

You have a really great looking site there. The design and colors are beautiful. In addition, the ad copy is very well written. It is interesting and presented in a way that it doesn't sound like a sales pitch. You have also chosen a well-defined niche. Heck, I don't even have kids and you had me ready to order! How long did it take you to put the materials and the web site together? Please keep us posted on all your success.

First, let me start by saying that I appreciate the feedback, especially coming from a web guy. I design almost exclusively for print so web is sometimes difficult for me to judge. Thanks for the compliment.
Second, you are not weird AT ALL for wanting the price on top. I am of the opinion that you should be straight forward and present price from the get-go but doing it the way I did solved a dilemma for me. If I put the price on that first page, I don't think I'll be able to analyze my stats well. Meaning, if people go on my home page and then leave without purchasing, I don't know if they left because the price was too high, or the site design sucked, or the copy was bad... KWIM? At least doing it this way, I can reasonably assume that the people who got all the way to the bottom to the price link were at least interested enough to continue to the price page. Then, I can look at the percentage who drop off at the price page and try to extrapolate if the price is too high because I get no conversions. On my eventual site, if testing goes well, I'll be more open about pricing.
Thanks Again!!

Wahooooo :D ... thanks! I'm really happy to hear this.
To be honest, it took us a LONG DAMN TIME. Having twins is rough and having them while you also have a 2 year old will occasionally make you want to hurl yourself off a bridge. The CD's have been in the works for at least 3 months as we're working with a local sound studio for those. The planners and printed materials are no biggies for me because it's what I do so that was only about a week. The web site took me about a week, too, simply because I only have a few mintues here and there to work on them. Now I'll begin testing and if all goes well, I'll actually start manufacturing.
Thanks for the feedback!

I like it! I only have a two year old so I feel for you :) Great work! If the price tests well that high, I would keep it at the bottom of the page...JMO.

Thanks Dutty,
I get the concept, you split them off into three pages for measurement purposes , makes sense.
Even as a web guy, this "internet marketing" stuff is new for me ;)
Thanks
