I'm new to the book and am about to finish the 6th chapter. I found the forum and after some great dreamlining that has realigned my perception about some of my practices, I'm quickly realizing that I am making some real progress.

A little bit about me, I am an actor living in Tulsa, Oklahoma who runs a social networking site for creatives to connect. I also have my own company of actors who do shows. These three creative endeavors keep me hoping at all times, and I love that I am doing this and making it happen.

I find that sometimes I feel overwhelmed with my personal life and don't have enough time to make money so that my personal needs are taken care of, and this leads me to try and work more, but I am looking at passive opportunities with product and supply and other things like that.

I guess my question would be, how do I as a theatrical artist realign my perception of doing what I love or doing something else in order to do what I love? This answer I am sure will come to me from further reading, but your opinion would be excellent.

For the social networking site? Do you have a newsletter with a list? You could survey your customers and find out what kinds of things they are already spending money on. Since you have established trust with them I am sure that they would be willing to buy from you. Let me know what you think of those, I have a lot of other ideas if you are looking for more. -Jon Alan

It might help if you post the URL of your social network so that we can think of ways you might be able to monetize it.

I'm in the same boat. Picked up internet marketing because I thought it was a quick fix. I was always looking for passive income. If I could turn back time, I would have pursued my own industry instead of building skills in an industry I have no interest in, other than making money. It's not worth it.

Hoping my muse treats me well though.
