Okay. So. I created the website, and it's an ALL flash website... and then I learned of the difficulties regarding getting flash websites read by the search engine crawlers, so I'll need to create an .html version (was going to anyways.)
Plus, it may load slightly slow depending on the connection speed you have (it's a large 1meg flash file), but I'm not too worried, cause my target audience (15-30 year old males who play videogames/watch anime/go to conventions) generally have fast connections.
It's a real niche market: Cosplayers (ha, look it up on google if you have no idea.)
I made the website from a template and it just took MUCH longer than I had planned.
Doing my adwords testing this coming week. I've kept cost much lower than expected so far, so that's good.

Tear it up guys!

I like the design. It's complicated but clean and uncluttered. Nice pictures. Nice effects.
A few things.
For the left navigation, you can't see what link you are hovering over. You really need to make the text orange during a hover. Ditto for the current page effect.
And for the bottom navigation, it seems the hover effect is kind of off. You probably need to make a separate one for each link, because it just looks weird now.
And I would make the page a little longer maybe, and put the hard sell "What you get" info on the page, and not make potential customers click another link to get a pop up box. The fewer clicks, the better. Plus, your targeted audience, along with all having high speed connection, also probably have their resolutions set to 1024x768 at the MINIMUM, and probably higher. So you have some more room to work with.
I honestly think that this is a great idea, and I know there is a demand for it. I wish I came up with it. Of course, I probably don't have the mad cosplay ladies man skillz that you do ;)

MarkRoX,
Your hardcore man!! :)
I'm really diggin your website, it RoX! :)
Your personal testimony is awesome, and very persuasive, I really like the progression of your pictures as you scroll down the page.
The site looks very clean, and professional, and I like the models that you chose, they are high quality pictures and great poses.
One of my biggest concerns with the site is that I understand that if I bought your product/service, I'd probably learn a lot about how to pick up girls who are into cosplay.
While I understand that aspect, I don't understand what your product/service is, I think you should explain that in greater detail.
For example:
- Is this an e-book?
- Is it a membership website?
- Or a software package?
Can you give some examples as to how specific features correlate to benefits to the customer?
Such as:
-With AnimeMX you'll learn how to overcome the most common objections to the hottest girls, and how to turn around what seems like an embarrassing situation into one of the best nights of your life in just one simple sentence you NEVER thought would work! :)
-You'll also learn how the magic of the "neg-hit" a powerful technique that has her wondering "Who is this guy? and why do I suddenly feel compelled to WANT him to like me?"
I'm a little torn about using music on a homepage, but that's your call.
One thing that also stands out is the navigation bar on the right. When I hover over the nav links they get grayed out and I can’t see the text anymore.
Overall though, I personally think this is a great site, and I hope it makes you tons of automatic, reoccurring riches!

I like the site, like the idea - and wanted to thank you showing me thinking more outside my tiny box of muse-searching!
Thanks again for sharing this

Yeah. I know about the disappearing text on the navigation bar. I was editing a template and somehow it disappeared and I couldn't get it going and after spending too much time trying, i decided to just move on and get the rest up. Now, yeah, I'm going back and asking for help from some folks to fix that.
You're right, I DO need to make the benefits MORE PLAIN.
Lol. I posted in another thread earlier how I was getting bogged down by ALL of the things you start thinking about and trying to make PERFECT. And how it gets overwhelming to the point where you feel like you're not making any progress. So this last week I just kicked ass and worked to get it up to a point where I could finally upload and start. Now comes the fixes!
Thanks.
