Hi guys

Sorry for the slow response...I have not been in here for a while....

Anyone want to meet up then....? I have quite a bit of free time this week but go away again Tuesday just to come back in time to run the London marathon on Sunday 26th

My success story isn't on here no... I dont see it as a success yet I guess. Plus i find these forums perticulerly bitchy with some people that have very limited dreams and want to drag the rest of us down. I have though made some friends whom I am in contact with on a reguler basis outside the forums. One in perticuler is really living the dream.

Things have dropped slightly over the easter period but have seem to have picked up today. I also lost my VPA last week so I'm back proccessing orders myself. Pain in arse. But I guess you learn as you go along.

I have also switched credit card suppliers to get more airmiles for my order process this will fund a world trip next year I reckon. Free flights and passive income = Free life for me.

I have two muses.

The first is a print re-seller. A kind of broker for print jobs, the printers print I re-sell they even packege and deliver in neautral packeging so i can re-brand it. This is successful in it makes around £1200 clear profit a month. But I would not recommend a printers as its quiet a lot of work with complaints etc as printing can ofter not look the same on paper as it does on the screen, as I mention I lost my VPA too, and to teach someone about printing etc is difficult and I have to start again now. I am in the process of creating the 'how too' manuals which from my experienace VPA's dont like to read. But its good to have them anyhow. It has however brought me to a very good graphic designer/web desinger in Pakistan who is nothing short of brilliant and is very cheap to work with. This allows me to convert peoples designs from word documents or even power point presentations. It opened me to a whole new market of people who cant desingn there stuff and cant pay a graphic desinger £150 to design the flyer. I charge £39.99. This is already taking off with 2 orders already this week of deisgn and print.

I have also learnt a great deal about PPC and organic SEO

I provide leads to a Building company in london of people looking for work to done. I get paid 3% - 5% of the profit from the job. I have just recieved my first % of £600. This covers my outlay of site and ppc campigne. This has lead me to think I can find leads for any business, be it window fitters, carpet fitters, mortgage brokers or insurnace companies. But that's all for the future.

Muse number 2
I am also buying properties. I buy UK property 20% - 30% below market value, and it has to make an income for me monthly. It does not cost me much to buy them either

for example.

I just completed on a 3 bed property in Norwhich.
Maket value : £230k
I paid: £150k
Mortgage £152k

I paid for the purchase with extra £2k cash back and I had to put in £1300

It is now let for £945 (includeing £105 letting fee) the mortgage is £290 a month. I make £655 a month every month until I sell it. It has already £75k of equity in it.

I have never even seen this property. I never will I dont think.
I am already looking at another one.

In the mean time I am still contracting for 12 days a month. Leaving me the other 16 to push it all further.

In the future... I have a very clear plan where I'll be in the next five years.

Um... that's it I think anyhow

David,

You continue to inspire. Great work.

Could you possibly pm me the portfolio of that designer. Our company is actually in need of a great graphic designer for annual reports and other materials. Thanks.

Where are your VA's from?

Hi Dave

I got my VPA though Facebok in the end she is from Bangalor. Lovely girl, I still have her creating email address lists, and writting articles for SEO purposes. She just could not get her head round printing. It was a shame as I ivested quiet a bit of time training her.

I will definatly hire another one, I'm on the look out already. The job only requires about 2 hours Max per day. The PA does need to constantly check for new orders (maybe one an hour check the emails) Send the graphics off to the designer to check the spec and then place the order with the supplier, then I log in and make the payment. They just have to compile a daily report for me to check and that's it really. Ill keep searching Im sure there is a VA out there for me somewhere.

I'll drop you a PM with my graphic designers details. He needs a bit of hand holding at first, but he is a life saver now, literally sits on his pc for 14 hours a day too, so he is always available when I need him. Top man. He has also created a few of my websites too.

Good luck with it all mate

David

Dave,

Thanks for sharing. Wish more people were as straightforward as you.

How much did you end up paying your Banglore VA per hour?

Ok cool, look forward to seeing the designer.

Thanks mate!
