Hi, have an idea that could make some pretty good money in a blog format... don't want to disclose the concept just yet, but I think it's a pretty unique idea and it would be no more than a short few hours to set it up, and not much time a week to keep it running.

However, I need to find the right blog service to make it all work. Here's my wish list of features:

• free of charge (possibly with premium plans if the experiment works out)
• allows me to have ads
• free templating
• a pretty subdomain like myblog.service.com or such
• good SEO abilities
• unrestricted bandwidth
• possibility to do backup if I want to move
• and that's about it

There are two reasons for me not to just buy my own web hosting and set it all up. One is simply that I don't wanna pay anything, since the idea is very random - on one hand it could realistically make some big money, but it could also show out make almost nothing. I think that's more up to chance than to me. Another reason is that in this case I don't think I would benefit from having my own domain name - it would look too "pro" and give the wrong impression.

Any help? Thanks!

I think Blogger has pretty much all of these except free templating.

Turns out I was reading out dated info... blogger indeed seems to have all of the things on my list.

So much for doing proper research... :o
