counting competing sites page hits

Is anyone familiar with a way to count or find out a competing web sites' page hits for free?

Did not know about compete, tried them out. They do not have enough data for my very particular niche....

http://www.quantcast.com/ is another one.. .even though all of these places underestimate traffic.

If the site has adsense banners on it, google might tell you aprox page views as well.
