I just love things that add to productivity or make my work easier and faster.

This is one amazing video i just found and whacked on my site. This bloke shows you how to create voice activated ezine articles in less then 3 minutes per article.

Im not sure if the software he shows is free or what but his method is fantastic..

Anyway check it out and come back tell us all what you think...

He is using Dragon (http://www.nuance.com/talk/). I have been using it for years. I love it

I can talk FAR faster than I type. BUT: It is NOT perfect software!
First you really need to spend 45 minutes to over an hour setting it up to recognize your voice and training it to your peculiarities.

Second, even then it is not perfect. You have to speak clear and slower than normal. I thought I would be able to talk at my normal speed.

Third, you need a good sound card

Fourth, a good microphone (over $50)

Fifth, a fast processor on your computer.

Sixth, you HAVE to proofread carefully afterward. Like if you say: "You don't have to be a good writer" It may translate it to "You don't have to be a good rider" HOWEVER a cool thing is that the software DOES learn when you correct it. I am in the head lice business and at first, it would type headlights. After 2 corrections of it, it "learned" that when I say head lice, it types out head lice.

Overall, I still think it is better than typing! But it is not a miracle product either. 3 minutes is an exaggeration for most. Just like Tim exaggerates about getting a $4 an hour VA like it is effortless. It is not, there is a lot of back time spent.

STILL, I would highly recommend it.

I like your site a lot but it has tons of spelling and other errors. It is not a huge problem for me because I know what you meant but it may effect your credibility.

EXAMPLES from your site: I have deliberately kept each section as breif as possible to avoid confusion.

The keyword tool insiode your campaigns if you

are just a few. Copy and paste the text of your website into a spell checker and go back and fix the mistakes if you want.

Just a suggestion...still love your site and best to you.

Thanks Darren, that one i only created yesterday. I will edit it today.. Apreciate it.

Re voice - yep I know they require training, but I watched him do in 3 minutes what usually takes me 30min plus. Im one that likes to write my own articles. So this is perfect.

I just checked it out its $109 but i think its worth it and it will help stave off carpel tunnel syndrome which we are all at risk of.

All fixed, now, squidoo has spell check up and running again.

My Windows XP computer has Microsoft Office 2003 and it has a speech to text feature. I've only trained it for about one hour and it shows.

I suppose if you're writing a long piece it would come in handy. But for something short and simple it's probably easier just to type it out.

This is what I got when I used the text to speech feature to write out what I just typed above:

My windows makes P computer as Microsoft office 2003 ended has a speech to text feature. I've only treated for about one hour and it shows.

I suppose if you're writing a long piece it would come in handy . But for something short and simple it's probably easier just to tighten out .

Point taken and that was my inital experience with voice recognition a few years ago. Complete frustration, but watch the video its obviously improved a hell of a lot since then. This guy cracks out a 300 ish word article in around 3 minutes.... Im still blown away by it.

When your using article marketing and you want to spit out 50 articles in a week this is the only way to go.

I know, I saw the video on your webpage. STILL, he didn't show the errors that were there.

Again, I highly recommend Nuance's Dragon Software. I use it myself. But it isn't as rosey as this guy makes it seem.

I haven't timed my typing vs. Dragon + Proofreading + Editing. I imagine it is still faster to use Dragon, just not by huge differences. Enough to keep me happy, but not enough to use it for everything.

It is resource intensive and sometimes buggy. I'm just saying.
