Hello,
I am interested in approaching major companies with my product idea. specifically to inventor friendly companies as found via Stephen Coveys website. I have a good sales sheet, 3D drawings and so forth. I have a patent application started here in Canada, but this gives me no protection in the States. Since these are American companies should I be filing a prov. patent in the States?
Lets say for an infomercial, do it all, type business. some will accept product apps without a patent. Should i be covering my butt with an American provisional pat. application?
