How much of the technical side does the licensor have to know about his product? For example, could I have, a few years back, gone to Apple and said, "dude just create an iPhone" and gotten money out of it?
Or would I of had to show exactly how this iPhone would work -- all of the technical details.
Im guessing the answer is "it depends" and also that how well you know your product correlates with the percentage you get. But ultimately I have no idea. Once again, help is greatly appreciated.
