Hi
I have joined a multi level marketing company with some very nice products and a very good compensation plan and a 180 days guarantee on the business opportunity as well as on the products.
So my question is: I believe that time changes and so does the way to do MLM. 10 years ago you did MLM by talking with friends and people you meet randomly. In 2009 i believe that the right way to do it is by using the internet. So for doing MLM and get customers and associates online, there is some different courses that you can take, i have looked at the one with a guy called www.deagansmith.com But there is some more out there, so if anybody knows about a course they can recommend or knows anything about MLM online, ideas, experiences etc. i will be more than grateful to hear about it :-)
Thanks a lot.
Have a nice day and always think positive.

MLMs are just like any other job, except they teach you how to sell better than most company training does. The ways to make money with an MLM is to work 40 hours a week and treat it like a job. Changing jobs every 4 months (like most people hooked on the MLM merry go round) is no way to make money. You need to stick with it for the long haul and work at it.
Most MLMs gloss over the fact that it really requires work. The family/friends are nothing, just window dressing. You need to be out there hitting the streets, building your network 24/7.
Is that relative to your question? Not sure. It is just my 2 cent MLM soap box speech.

No it wasn't really an answer to my question :-) That you think that you can't make money with MLM is of course that's your opinion. It is possible to make money with MLM that's for sure, and it is also possible to do it online. So what i am searching is a course that teach you the online strategies, basic how do i get the most traffic to my site at all ?
I remember that you Kamakiri said long time ago something about that it doesn't matter what you sell or do, it's a matter of HOW you do it ;-) So of course it is possible to make money with MLM as it is with any other business you just have to do it better than the rest, and as i said i believe that the way to go for MLM in 2009 is the internet. I wiil let you know how things is going, and tell you when i have my first million :-)
Any idea's, suggestions, comments, etc. are more than welcome.
Have a beautiful day.

No no. That is not what I meant at all. Quite the opposite actually. There is a lot of money to b a made with them. That was specifically pertaining to switching MLMs to the 'flavor of the month'.
I had friends in college who, every few months, when they weren't raking in the kind of cash they though they should changed to the next big thing. They made their pitch to the group they had formed and those guys jumped ship as well, when if they had all stuck with one thing, the would have made some money.
The main message I was trying to get across is that in order to really be successful with an MLM, you need to treat i like a real job/company, and spend the time on it. If you put in 40 hours a week toward furthering your MLM, you are pretty much assured to make money, and that is really the only way to do it. It is the guys who switch up all the time and bring a new sales pitch to their friends and family every few months who not only make nothing, but lose their friends and family in the process.
Further off topic: If you really want to make money from MLMs, then get into training. Robert Kiyosaki has sold millions of books to MLM salesmen, they eat up motivational speakers like mad. Training videos? The opportunities are huge. There you lock in profits, and the more you do the higher you charge. Be it copywriting, movie production, or training seminsars. Pair with a high level guy, put out a video, and sell them for $20 to everyone in his downline.
IMO, the real money isn't in being a gold miner. It's in selling the shovels, pans and ancillary equipment to gold miners.

By the way, a lot of people have web sites which you can subscribe to for a monthly fee, then they sent out emails, video, tips and tricks etc. don't you think that is better than just a video for example ?
And don't you think that you have to "give some kind of prove" that your training/video actually works ?
Cheers

Check out Jackie Ulmer: www.streetsmartwealth.com
She has built a 700+ deep network by promoting online.
Good luck!
I personally like Mike Dillard's Magnetic Sponsoring. It's mostly a "mindset" program but definitely brought a lot to my attention.
It's sold only by affiliate link, and I wouldn't be comfortable shamelessly plugging it in this forum... If you search Google you'd be able to find plenty of people selling it.
For $40 it's a great value.
