View Full Version : Muse?
I've debated for a couple of years whether I should write an e-book concerning the purchase of real estate with little or no money down. It seems that the infomercial world is flood with such programs, but I would like to keep it simple.
My wife and I have been very successful in the negotiating the purchases of two homes and a duplex with no money down. We have dealt with several programs and options for buying homes. In all, we've gained quite a bit of experience that I'd like to share.
The big problem.................I've never written an e-book. Has anyone found software that would be useful? Any thoughts on e-book development?
In short I'm lost:)

Wow.... you've picked a TOUGH market to start out in.... Just a question... how do you plan to make yourself stand out to potential customers of your product in this highly saturated field? What's your hook, a way of making people interested in your product?
Just go to Barnes and Noble to see tons of books already on this subject. I don't mean to put your muse down in any way.... just trying to think along with you about how to make yourself stand out in this very competitive area...
That's one of the two problems I think I'm going to run into. The other is creating an e-book that doesn't reiterate the same information everyone else has put out there. This one may just be to difficult to start with.
I'm trying to stick with what I know. My hobbies haven't lent themselves to anything creative as of yet so I'm kinda stumped. I've done unconventional sales in the past (insects, reptiles, exotics, etc.), but I've always done something that was hands on. I've thought about dropshipper sales as a start. I just can't get excited about it.
I'll just have to put my nose to the grindstone until I come up with something unique!

Arky, have you done what the book says and written down all of the groups that you've belonged to and the skills that you have? This should help you come up with some other e-books to write. If you you run into a snag, try a subject that your wife can write on.
I really think that you're going to have a tough time with the real estate with no money down muse. Not trying to crush your dreams, just trying to shoot straight with ya.

Since a lot of people are creating eBooks, it might be a good idea to look at something different. The new popular kid on the block is video and video books/courses will be the next big thing in my opinion. John Reese has already started:

And there is many more players using video and video sites such as YouTube to market their products to the crowd of video watchers.
I have also found this amazing course on AdSense and Beyond which talks about AdSense money making and beyond with Affiliate marketing:

Enjoy

Thanks for all of the great responses! I've looked into several of the affiliate programs at clickbank.com and have found several that really interest me. I'm in the process of putting together a web site, but in the meantime I'd like to test the waters a bit with adwords. Does Google allow you to link to your affiliate site?
