Anyone out there know where to find out what the laws and regulations are that you have to follow if you want to set up a website with adult content? Are there any?

There are a ton of regulations. And you'll find that there are many providers such as host providers and social bookmarking/networking that exclude them. They are, by far, the most sophisticated marketers out there. The adult industry is always 4 steps ahead of everyone else.

Why would you want to set up a website with adult content? If you have a potentially profitable angle, I'd love to hear it, but if you know much about that market, it's not an obvious place to go if you've just read 4HWW and want to implement the philosophy. It's insanely competitive, four steps ahead of everyone else as WebGal says, not an easy place to be either first or best. Most importantly, with the amount of free/cheap stuff out there, you'll have a hell of a time getting people to pay Tim's recommended price tag ($50-$200) for anything.
