Interesting... I have never had it happen.

Had that happen once. Suspicious of the internet in general though, so I always copy text to notepad if it starts to get long.

Well, it just happened to me, too, Sven. You are on a mac, right? I just got a macbook pro and am using firefox. It seems to happen more in firefox.

Hey guys,

Happy to have this forum here.

I would love to see:

1. Allow people to upload avatars, it'll make the whole place nicer.

2. Allow one line signatures.

3. Seems silly to always have to click on a button to enable quick reply. It should be ready to go right off the bat.

If you need anybody to help fix these things, our development team has already spent hours with vbulletin. You can see our work at www.HonestForum.com

Thanks.

No, I think it works just fine. Avatars are distracting, and adding a sig line will only cause people to put their "muse" or spam links in it.

yea, there are a lot of get rich quick people here.

I really think avatars would make this place much nicer. and the quickreply should just work without you having to click every time.

Indeed, mac+firefox3. It could be that it has something to do with the remember me checkbox. i think I did not have to use it every time but now that I did it yesterday I did not need to login this morning. I had noticed I needed to login again after switching to and from mobile broadband which wasn't strange to me.

I hope this was a case of just being stuppid...

I agree, avatars would be waste of space&attention. Would like a signature though. Which I would use for spamming, naturally ;-)

Or we could take a step the other way and not even allow .com's in user names to remove top line post spam.

Hi Dave- I've already asked Tim about avatars and signatures in the past, he wants to keep it simple, go figure :)

Sven - I'll try to see if the vbulletin people can help with your issues. Thanks!

Thanks Marcie but it may not be needed... haven't had the problem again.

I think it has to do with switching between internet connections. After the switch I think you need to check the "remember me" box at login. I hadn't last time as most websites don't seem to need that. I guess Vbul does...

What does this question have to do with "Target Monthly Income (TMI), Getting Started, Dreamlining, Fear-setting... " ??

If you have a technical issue, I suggest you contact the mods directly and not post it as a thread.

If you don't mind me throwing out an idea,

I think this forum would be well served to have a pro section.

The pro section would require a person to have a muse with at least $500 a month in profits.

This would bring the quality to the top and would keep a lot of the get-rich-quick stuff in a different section.

I think we've resolved the issue here and I'm going to lock this thread.

Yes, thanks - Tim did say there may be a bug in Firefox, let me know if you have any further issues.
