This possibly may be the coolest thing since sliced bread when it comes to keyword research. I'm surprised I don't recall it being mentioned in Tim's book.

Basically it can show you for a given keyword what % of those who searched for it have commercial intent (ie, are looking to buy something). Great for not wasting your time on keywords where the majority of people are just looking for information.

hmmm

It sounds like a good idea, but appears to be a bit weird in terms of results :

a simple example :

"free ebook" : .95 probability
"buy ebook" : .73 probability

That doesn't stack up to me, unless I've missed something?

EDIT : I was being a moron!

That's a probability of NON-COMMERICAL intent! :D

Yeah, that's a bit disconcerting how they flip it to Non-Commercial intent when the % goes the other way =)
