Fake eBay Auction?

Just Keyword Tools?

Thank you,

Leonardo

as many options as you can possibly test with using as many real elements as possible. I wouldn't rely too heavily on one source due to the complexity of the data... you may not be understanding why 1 source looks so good until you look at other sources.

I think the fake ebay auction will be a complete waste of time (esp. if you aren't selling in ebay).

So what are the best tools for the micro testing?

I've read the eBay way in the book about ProSoundsEffects.com page 176:

Micro-Testing
He auctioned the products on eBay to test demand (and the
highest possible pricing) before purchasing inventory. He ordered
product only when people placed orders from him, and product
shipped immediately from the manufacturers' warehouses. Based
on this demand confirmed on eBay, Doug created a Yahoo Store
with these products and began testing Google Adwords and other
PPC search engines.

prosound testing on ebay was done back when ebay was actually an okay source back a few years ago. Recently, the good sellers have left ebay and so have the buyers.

read about web marketing (there's a dummies book about this). There's too many sources to list. CPC google ads can already encompass a whole book, and that's just 1 method mentioned in 4HWW. You can also search in this forum about it, as this stuff has been talked about ad nauseum in here. It's a highly developing field based on constantly changing technologies, so be ready to read a lot.

Most bids on eBay come in during the last few minutes, if not the last few seconds of an auction. Not particularly helpful market re-search if you don't actually intend on selling the item and need to end the item listing way before then.

I have better hopes for Adwords CPC. Though mastering that is an art form in and of itself. The one shot tests described in the book sound like they could be very hit or miss even if a potential product might be workable.

I think the best and legal option is to make a campaign and publish your website but still don't have the product; and say in your website that if they're interested you'll send them an e-mail about it, just like Johanna did.

Anyway, anything that isn't illegal it's a good way of make your product known! Some are better and more effective than others and don't work the same in all markets, so TRY! If you're a muse owner you have to assume some risk.

You know, i've actually been selling a few items on ebay lately and most of the bids DON'T come in at the last minute. That being said, it really does depend on the market you're trying to attract as to whether ebay is going to be a "reliable" source of market testing. Think this: Would I be looking on ebay if i wanted to buy my item?

I put my product on Ebay as a 30-day classified ad, I haven't received any buyers or any watchers, I wonder if I need to put it as an auction? I placed it as a classified ad because Ebay says all information products/digital downloads must be under this category.

I sold an eBook using 3 days auction on eBay. Here is the proof: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230312166558&ssPageName=ADME:L:EOISSA:AU:1123

You just need to offer it as physical good, like CD or DVD, and ship it.

oh gotcha! Crafts on Ebay are really big.

I wonder what the best way to list digital goods is on Ebay, I put it in as a 30 day classified ad because of their regulations. Does anyone know if there's a better way? No one has found my ad yet.

Did you read my post? Put them in any category you want as an auction and offer CD shipment. Re-list them periodically with Turbo Lister, or other tool, or manually.
