So I heard about the 4HWW book kind of at random on another message board where someone who travels alot just blurted out "i really like this book".
Naturally seeing the title I was skeptical as everyone would be, but I decided to take a stab at it and picked up the book, well, 80+ pages into it (I realize im just scratching the surface) but I just don't think I can make it happen.
It seems to me that the plan would work, I was already living my life based on this book's principles, I've always been a less is more person and refused to keep "busy" just for appearances sake. But the problem I have is that, I don't work in an office, and I'm not an entreprenuer. I'm an airport baggage handler, I'm at the mercy of someone else's schedule, I get a ridiculous amount of break time in my 6-8-10-16 hour day but it's not really an option to just reschedule my 5 hours of actual activity into the first 5 hours, then leave. I've got lots of free time on my hand while at work that I'd like to do something with, right now I'm reading the book, but I don't know how to solve my problem.
A pretty clear dream I ahve is to live abroad, maybe not more than a year in 1 place, or for good if I find myself enjoying it. I'm not opposed to living in the thirld world, actually I think I'd lke it in many cases, and without living like a king on lots of money in those places. But it seems that this would be impossible without some magic idea or some job that you could actually escape. I'd love to just pick up and leave, obviously I'm afraid as anyone would be, but I think I could pull it off if there was just a way for me to have that cash flow Tim talks about in the book, the...passive flow I think he calls it.
Is it just a matter of getting kinda ridiculously lucky and thinking of some amazing idea? I've always been able to work well, I learn pretty quickly in most cases and stuff, but i've never been the most creative person around so it seems to me that idea will never come.
Any advice from someone with experience, in either passive cash flow, or maybe just an entreprenuer who has managed to work and live abroad without necessary being able to work in that country? I really want to do this, just not sure how.
