Hi,

I am in the process of releasing an audio product that also comes with learning software. I was thinking of using affiliates and selling through clickbank. Do you think this option is better than actually putting the time in to make your own Ads? Am I safe to assume that affiliates will take care of most of my advertising? What do you guys think are the cons of using clickbank? I have a viable product and I don't want it to look cheap. Do you think selling through clickbank does that? I'm really torn between using them or just trying to market the product myself. Do you guys have any thoughts/suggestions?

Thanks!

Clickbank works by listing the most popular products first. It's win/win in that situation, so if you don't have a good sales copy page, you will not get many people trying to affiliate with your product.

That said, it's very worthwhile to create a good sales copy and rely on your own marketing. Clickbank will just be icing on the cake.

Regarding clickbank for pdf/digital downloads, yes, I think it does have a cheap appearance (most of the products listed in clickbank are junk from what I have seen). I will be looking into alternatives for digital download, myself.

..? I don't think Clickbank will make your product cheap, because from what I understand about Clickbank, only online marketers would see your listing, and prospective customers would see your landing page.

How is Clickbank working out for people? I see it as a win-win situation, maybe I will offer 60 or 75% commission to affiliates try it out. Does anyone know if you can change the commission you offer? Or is it only a one-time input?
