Hey Guys

Good to see some excited people taking actions to get FREE. I also have an idea I want to put into reality. It involes recording and creating a video and distributing it. My question is, maybe if someone here can help, is that what is the best way of doing this. If i am to record it myself, what should i do to make it look professional ? Or are there companies who can do this cheap?

Thanks

DO you know anyone that has a mac? I know this may sound crazy, but they are really simple to use for simple video editing and dvd creation. At first, I'm sure you will want to make a few at a time as they will move slowly in the beginning. If you don't know anyone with a mac, maybe your public library, or local university might have some available for use.

Thanks Cartoonfan1983. But how about actually recording it, are there companies out there with actors that can do this for cheap? I guess if not, i would have to record it myself.

check you local phone book or do search online for local production companies.

I found one in my city that does everything from radio ads to producing albums. Then you take the master and and haveit mass produced

The most important thing to make DVDs look professional is lighting. Using white posterboard that isn't in view point the flat part at you and shine a light at the board. It'll look a lot better than using just the light in the room or sunlight from outside. Especially if your up close. There's lots of sites with information for beginner cinematographers and photographers about lighting.
