I'm a web designer and have decent Photoshop skills. Recently I have seen an increase in demand for web graphics such as BANNERS, HEADERS, LOGOS, etc. Also, I have seen the poor quality graphics many people on this forum are using on their muse websites.

I am aware this would be a SERVICE and not a product. Currently I'm designing some big banners for a client (600X800) at $45 USD each. He said he only needed two a month but he's been ordering about 1 per week. I get the feeling he thinks he's taking advantage of me probably because he finds my prices too low. Of course I love being taken advantage of this way :)

It only takes me about 1-2 hours to design one banner (this includes layout planning, choosing colors and fonts, purchasing graphics, and the actual editing work). I figured that if I could get at least 4 similar projects per week at $45 each, I could reach my TMI for this year ($720 USD, yeah, that's all I need to live my dream life this year). Since my work is very affordable and high-quality, next year I might earn twice as much and I might hire someone to help me with it or just do it myself since I really love what I do.

Do you think it may work? What keywords should I target in Google Adwords, I really have NO IDEA. Please help me with this.

Try using this tool to see what people look up. That's a place to start. I would think web designer, web graphics, web banners for starters.

Not really sure that I understand. Why would you want to pay for adwords when you can sign up to the freelancers sites out there. That is where the work is and you don't have to advertise to find it.

I use several guys every week to create and edit images for me and I found both of them on odesk.com and scriptlance.com .I have never done a Google search for designers as I can find all I want at those sites.

Dude ... I think you can get enough business through referrals and by participating in forums like this if you are serious about doing what you love to do with graphics for that kind of a wage.

Do you have any samples of stuff we can see?

Seriously ... pm me if you want more work. I'm about to go live with a new product and I need a bunch of stuff done.

1) nicer header (mine is very "ok" but not professiona)
2) e-cover for the audio CD product
3) general suggestions on how to improve the look of the site.

I have been hell-bent on doing everything myself from day one until the business has cash flow to pay for the upgrades, but for $45 banners, I can definitely manage.

If you participate here regularly people will get to know you and recommend you if they like your work and then YOU won't be advertising, people do it for you. That's what you want.
