Web Programmer + Rockstar Designer

Hey everyone! This is my first post on this forum. I wanted to thank everyone in this community for being so helpful - just browsing around has really shortened my learning curve.

I have a pretty promising idea for a new web-based service. I'm looking for a web programmer who can also do sophisticated web design and graphics work.

Requirements for the web site include a sophisticated and attractive GUI (www.pandora.com, http://www.basecamphq.com/demos/milestones/), and some ongoing automated data mining from other sites.

If anyone can refer someone who they'd recommend, I'd really appreciate it!

When I posted my project to Elance these guys had the most impressive design portfolio.

Just so you know, when the design is really good and the programming is good, it's the work of two people not one. Programmers are into functionality, designers are into sites that look good. I can't say that I find that either one knows how to go a great landing page as far as meeting the needs of the target market. But I would bet the company that kamikiri linked to has a pipeline team to bring it together.

I've In fact only meet one guy who was pretty good at both designing and coding, and also liked doing both enough to actually do contract work.

However, I'm not into limiting believes, so I hope you attract the right guy for your job.
