As profit starts to trickle in from my online business ventures, I'm having a hard time figuring out the best ways to re-invest in my business while also spending the money wisely. I am wondering, from those of you that have been at this juncture, where you spent the majority of your profit/revenue and what you would do if you had the chance to do it again.

I'm thinking of upgrading my web sites to custom design, buying some advertising, and maybe hiring some content writers.

Padma, I like your site. I thought it looked pretty good and user friendly. I only looked at the one site under your personal profile...do you have more?

Also did you outsource development? If so I would love to know how:-)

Since I thought the site I saw was pretty good, I would concentrate on driving people to the site as first priority...the other two later.

Thanks for your replies. In regards to FuryFitness.com, I did all of that myself using Joomla. The problem I ran into is that the coding and tweaking is now way beyond my ability and I've also lost my partner so keeping up with content and the user community has been very difficult to say the least. I would like to continue work on the site, but its not going very fast.

I have a few other sites, however right now I have decided to use my home site and blog as a funnel to the rest of them. You can find it at http://www.nathanhangen.com/blog

That's the site I am looking at re-designing as well as the rest listed on the sidebar. FuryFitness will get there eventually :)

My first suggestion would be to outsource for new content.
