Hello everyone...its a pleasure to be here..really.

I bought the audio version of the 4HWW last week and have listened to it over 3 times now...I even went to sleep with it hooked up to my ears. Long before 4HWW was released I always dreamed and wondered about creating multiple streams of "Automated Income".....I have always thought this was either very rare, very difficult to implement in the real world or even impossible..until now.

I am still in the brainstorming phase...and having some trouble coming up with some solid ideas. I am only interested in creating a stream of income close to ~$2000-$4500 per month.

Let me give everyone some background info on myself....

I just turned 20 and I am still in college studying computer engineering. Back in high school I played varsity water polo and was also in the swim team. (pretty good swimmer). I am very knowledgeable about computers and enjoy repairing/upgrading/troubleshooting them. My life currently consists of going to the gym 6 days a week, doing club swim 3hrs/day 4days a week and doing some studying. On the side right next to learning about business and finances, I am also actively learning and practicing my interactions with the opposite sex (aka. handling my 'love life'). (Not sure if anyone here is in the 'coummunity', I am referring to mystery method + RSD). (Even Tim included a 'comfort breaking' exercise on 4hww ...asking for 2-5 phone #'s daily)....I am also very interested in : skydiving, base jumping, white water rafting, scuba diving, rugby. After college/univ I am planning on joining the Marine Corps. (hopefully travel a bit before that)

Anyway, I am starting school again in about 1.5 months and I am going to cut-off TV, Media, & Unwanted information...because my brain desperately needs to go on a information diet. How am I accomplishing this? I am going to throw out all the crap I don't need and move out....and live in my car or the beach ..and focus on more important things. There are just too many distractions. As for work, I am working @ office depot right now and in the summer I am planning on lifeguarding in the beach (I am a lifeguard as well).

Let me tell you guys what I already do (relating to the 4HWW):

Based on my computer background, I have been fixing/upgrading/troubleshooting/installing friends/neighbors computers on and off for a while with great success..and this is all without a business card, phone number OR a website. (the most I've charged is around $65-$70 for about 3-4 hours of work, I am sure I could charge more based on prices @ geeksquad etc..)

I am pretty certain that, if I put some effort into this..I can get more customers..and I will do this by setting up a website (which I am already building..) and printing up ~250 business cards and giving them to past customers. Only thing is that, this is a 'on & off' thing...(meaning customer's aren't as steady/consistent as I would like it to be) but extra money for investing is always good.

(Thats my first idea..I am currently investigating things like : drop shipping, distributorship, creating & selling instructional dvd's, etc)

I am still trying to think of some creative methods to make this happen, I know theres a lot of more experienced business people out there and if you guys see some creative niches based on my experience/interests/etc I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks alot & good luck to you all ! :)

Think more along the lines of online database or ebook. The problem you run into doing the repairs yourself is you are limited to the hours you can work. As tim say "its not scalable".

As far as a muse or maybe something to drop, look at your school & peers. What do you do on a daily basis, or see other students do that can be made easier or be replaced by a product.

Ipods are huge for our generation. Maybe some sort of information product about ipods gear towards student (pod-casts of professors lectures), or ipod cases made with the schools colors or an UNoffical logo.

I would say start along college & college age bracket for a niche.

Best of luck!
