If I want to run a dry test on a eBook before I write it, what to I put when they click on the "submit credit card information" button? I can't rightly say we're 'out of stock'. Who's out of stock on an eBook?

I had the same problem with the concept of saying "out of stock" when I'm not.

What I'm doing is sending them to a page that's basically an ebook coming soon page then I ask for their email address to be put on a special notification/pre-order list to receive an email once the ebook is published. That should even provide more data not only did they click the submit button to order the ebook they opt-in my list because they want to know when the ebook is ready.

Yep, I have a pre-order page too, I am offering a "discount" if they pre-order the book...

Would you like to show us your pre-order page?

I use pre-order discount for my new self steering systems. I publish some of the details on the website to lure other pre-orders. First 5 get 20%, second 5 get 10.

I hope this helps in paying for the stock of the first series.
