You may have a good potential product there but at the moment it sounds like you *think* it may sell as opposed to knowing it will sell.

Therefore get some market research done in the form of microtesting (as outlined by Anton) and then you'll know for sure.

Ahh, I think it's a very competitive niche to get into. Personally, I would aim for older.

All the "pickup" "seduction" is aimed for people typically under 30.

You could hit up the niche from a 35-50 year range. Sort of get that "mid life crisis guy".

What I would do if I were you, is pick up Dan Kennedy's new book - Marketing to the Affluent...or whatever the title is (its quite long).
If you are targeting the boomer generation or the slightly older, maturer and loaded with cash bachelor who is recently divorced and doesn't quite know what to do, this book is great. It has a lot of insights on how to talk and sell to that market. Same goes for the women in that group, who spend like crazy on cosmetic surgeries and what not after a divorce and go after younger men.

Yea, the pickup market is saturated, especially after Neil Strauss and his book The Game. I believe there are even talks of a movie. I think the key would be to carve out the niche. You should pidgeonhole a specific type of person that would immediately relate to your marketing.

"Wealthy baby boomers that just got divorced"
"35+ men that are very intelligent but bad in social situations"
"Married men unhappy in their relationship"

Also, copy what works! David Deangelo sells the double your dating ebook which is successful.... look around and find out whats working.

Also, what about a reverse product that teaches women how to pickup younger men? ;) PS if you do that one, let me know who buys it ;)

sounds like all the other "be a dick and they will like you" kinda thing (that you either already know or you never will from what i can see), and altho you try to make it sound legit, it come back to rating women out of 10 and going for 18 and 19 year olds.

The guys that make money on this do seminars, u can do the same just try to word it as little less sleazy then them and you may have a market for people not as sleazy. p.s. weekend seminars can cost 1000+/person, enjoy your filth!

I think that could work but your niche will have to be more focused.

Further drill down with that age demographic, I.E. target 25-30 Web Programers, or even more extreme 25-30 Web Programers who are left handed. etc etc

Also some further ammunition if you haven't already read it is a book called.
