I need some advice on registering a business name. In Canada, we need two parts to the name: the name part and the descriptive part. eg. Peckerwood Plumbing. The name part is easy, and the descriptive part is also easy, that is, if you are a plumber, and accountant, or a pet detective. What do you call a business that creates muses? It may start by marketing drop ship items, then change to an info product, and later give affiliate marketing a try? Should I register a new business every time I change products, or try to create an one umbrella to operate under. (apparently "ebiz" is not a valid description, heh heh)

The U.S. doesn't have the same requirements, but we just registered our
corporation, Seattle Omniworks. Same idea, place and what we do (which is a little bit of everything LOL)

Whether you're creating your products or selling others via affiliate programs/drop shipment the medium for it all is the Internet and it's marketing to get the traffic we need so I'm using a name that reflects that so try to use that for your name and description.
Peckerwood Internet Marketing or Peckerwood Markerting or Peckerwood Media, etc.
Desciption, Internet marketing company. Or Marketing our network of websites via the Internet.

I don't know how it differs in Canada, but I would do something generic and you can always create "wholly owned subsidiaries" for other things. So, Peckerwood Enterprises would be fine, and some subsidiaries could be Peckerwood Plumbing, Peckerwood Electronics, etc...

Bah! I was worried over nothing. "Crowsnatcher Ebiz" is perfectly acceptable. Thanks for all the help.
