I just found that an early edition of the 80/20 Principle book by Richard Koch recommended by Tim is available online:

Get it! Fabulous book and some very good ideas for both individuals and business. The updated version also contain several examples where readers have criticised his points and Koch provides some very valid refutes.

I just finished reading this one by Koch, and for me, this was most useful. He gives super specific applications of 80/20 for personal life and dreams. It helped me with dreamlining and figuring out what exactly to eliminate more than 4HWW or the 80/20 Principle alone could...

Unfortunately, this one's not available free online--

That sounds like a good read, read lol. I know just applying the 80/20 based on the simple definition of it really helps. There is so much useful time spent on things that barely yield us anything.

I'll have to check out this "Living the 80/20 Way".

The "Happiness Islands" exercise is especially crucial in reshaping ones priorities and focus.

I would also highly recommend 'The Star Principle' also by Richard Koch (not on scribd yet)

It's a fantastic companion to 4HWW if you read it with an open mind & take out the 20% that applies to you & your muse

Well worth the $20 - in fact, you'd be insane not to read it! (yep it's that good)

enjoy!

I found his view on education, job income, businesses and investing to be useful personally. I now do an 80/20 analysis on my working life monthly (at the least), but preferably every fortnight. It's amazing just how much time we actually spend on things that are not really important.
