Hello everyone,

This is my first post here but I won't be boring and introduce myself (since most people probably don't read those "introduction" posts anyway). I will say that I am a serial entrepreneur and have started several corporations, and I'm currently working on three projects that I think have great potential. Obviously, I'm here for a reason just like all of you - right now I'm mostly looking for people like me to interact with, motivate each other, and maybe help each other in some way on our quest to whatever it is we want.

So, to go back to the topic of my post, I have read a lot of people talking about getting a website set up for their muse. One place I go to get a lot of quality, yet inexpensive, work done is a site called www.scriptlance.com At scriptlance.com you can actually post a project of exactly what you need done. Programmers, or experts, in whatever field you need can bid on your project eBay style. They are even ranked eBay style by their customers. There are even more than a few programmers who are willing to do some kind of services for you at no charge in exchange for a positive rating.

Like I said, I have interacted with programmers from this site many times. In fact, I have only had good experiences with the people I have met there and continue to work with many of them on new projects that come up.

Hopefully some of you will find scriptlance.com useful and it very well may save you a lot of money when it is time to put your muse online!

Cheers,

Rhino

I must add: online is only one method. I am not saying everyone push and create a concrete business. But, I have noticed a ton of people putting in tons of time in an online business. Even a regular concrete business can be done on autopilot.

Other than starting a business and hiring someone to run it, can you give an couple of examples of how a concrete business can be done on autopilot? I would actually like to start something with an office or non-web but have not really been able to find a way to get it done right without me being there to make sure things are done correctly.

I think same rules that apply to online would apply to the real world, just your overheads are higher.

Your outsourced customer support team become physical employees.

Unless you had lots of cash to start with, I don't think it would be a FIRST step, but I think it would be possible to run on auto pilot.

For years, I watched a guy who owned a large bus company in Brisbane Australia go between his hobby farm, and the company. He really didn't need to be at the Bus Depot at all, just he liked coming in every now and then to make his presence felt and make sure things were running.

You put other people in charge of daily running to your set parameters so that you can walk away.
