Hello, everyone..

I've been lurking & learning for quite a while now- thanks for all your input. I've read the book, and I'm ready to get started.

I've even developed my first muse. It's an informational system which I think is very much needed (of course!)

What I need now is to set up a website-- nothing very fancy, just the everyday type I've seen all over the net which involves a sales letter, response coupon, ability to accept credit cards or Paypal, and possibly a signup box for a freebie of some sort. I'd like for it to be relatively easy for a non-techie like me to set up.

Anyone have any vendors they really like for this type of site?

Thanks!

Whip

I think Ferriss would agree that you haven't really found your muse until you've tested it and you know it works and can be automated kink-free.

As for web site creation, if you don't know squat about it, there are a number of services/online apps out there that offer soup to nuts, point and click capability. Most include hosting as part of the package.

The ones I know of are Site Build It (http://buildit.sitesell.com/main/home.html), WebsiteWizard (http://www.implix.com/product-websitewizard.html), and BeBiz (http://www.bebiz.com/).

(BTW, none of those are affiliate links, which I think should be banned from these forums.)

To just get a website up .... here are a couple more...

http://business.blinkweb.com/ FREE

http://wordpress.com/ FREE

BUT, remember, its always best to stay with your site, and host if at all possible... so, pick one you can stick with for a while. If you need more control, or think you will ... then get an account from 1and1.com or godaddy.com or bluehost.com or gatorhost or whoever.... if you need more information... I am almost done with a video showing people how to set up wordpress as a content management system (blog is optional)... this would be from wordpress.org... the kind you download and put on a host... .not the free one (wordpress.com).

good luck... keep us updated!

Make it a great day!

I have found wordpress to be the best site package for newbies and have become rather fond of it. If you need a hand setting it up, let me know.
