Well, I haven't logged on since April and I'd like to tell you that I flew off to places all over the place and I've been living it up. Well, I'm not.

I've been working hard and building a way of earning an income that is location independent and somewhat self recurring.

I didn't want to make my own product until I learned to sell, so I took on the challenge of trying to sell other people's affiliate stuff at clickbank. I just paid for my domain name and hosting. I used all free means to support it and it's really starting to pay. It's weird, but it grows.

Even though I'm not making as much as Tim mentions as his costs in Buenos Aires, but it's definitely enough for me to live pretty well in Thailand.

It's amazing. I'm just so happy that I did something to build an income that I can liberate from, that I can do anywhere in the world, instead of just falling back into a day job that would of trapped and depressed me.

If there is a will, there is a way.

Even though, I have no plans for flying off to places to enjoy myself, I'm happy with this. I'll be working hard to build on what I have, and hopefully get to do a test run before the summer is over at my first attempt and really enjoying life for once, instead of worrying about the next bill.

Promoting products through affiliate marketing, that's brilliantly simple. Bravo!

Hope to see your earnings continue to grow.

Thank everyone,

As for my site, it's typically just sales pages. I do have a blog on it. I typically write articles, for article directories(which can be outsourced) and have them link back to related sales pages.

It's extremely simple, but that's not to say it didn't take a lot of work to get to this point.

Hey... that's great progress there

A few questions if you don't mind as I'm really interested in getting stuck into internet marketing as soon as I've got a bit more time:

- How did you pick your niche(s)/product(s) and how many different products are you promoting?

- What sort of conversion rates are you getting?

- How many articles have you written so far?

Also I don't quite understand your set up.... You link from the author info box on the article site to a sales page of your own, and then on to the sales page of the clickbank product?

Cheers

Jon :)

- How did you pick your niche(s)/product(s) and how many different products are you promoting?
Basically, I started out with what I knew. It's something I could ramble on about and write write write. I used clickbank, which it has a "gravity" thing listed for each product you can sell. It is basically a measure of how well it is selling. I jumped next onto a product that really sold well, and it sold well for me too. I've tried a few other things, some worked, some didn't.

Recently I've been doing an experiment, trying out over 20 products at the same time.

- What sort of conversion rates are you getting?
Depends on the product. It's weird, some things convert well (1:30) and others not so well (1:200+).

- How many articles have you written so far?
Over 700.

Also I don't quite understand your set up.... You link from the author info box on the article site to a sales page of your own, and then on to the sales page of the clickbank product?
I make a sales page for the product I'm advertising for. It's sort of like a "warmup" page. To sort of warm up the surfer to the product.

I'd love to share them(because I have more than one), but I won't. I don't like giving out sites where I already demonstrated how much I make with them. Chances are people will steal them. Not saying you will, it's just something I don't do.

I'm actually making an affiliate marking blog that is aimed for people of the 4hww. I still have to tweak a few things, but I should have it ready to go soon. It should be able to help some people out on what exactly I do. I'll be posting that.
