Hi All,
I have read 4HWW probably 7 time and here is my problem:
I am trying to attend grad school this Fall and need to create a muse. Here are my options:
-License a Product
-Develop my web site (www.ArchCRM.com) further and get enough traffic and Amazon sale to make it profitable
-Create a New Product (idea include Niche Software)
I only have till September to accomplish this. I need your help! Please visit my Blog at http://kalandfettaris.blogspot.com/ if you have any suggestions
Thanks in advance!

Well, first of all CRM stands for Consumer Relationship Management to most people, so you start off on the wrong foot by confusing people with the name. You will also have numerous troubles with ad words and search engine optimization. I really don't see much in the way of monetarizing that site either. What were you planning on selling?
You aren't bringing much to the table. There are a lot of people here on the boards who will be happy to pick apart your work and ideas, and give feedback based on out own personal experiences. Don't let my initial criticism get to you either.
Just a short search through these forums will show you that there are a ton of people who just finished the book and came here to make an energy filled post hoping to find a muse and make $1,000 a week in one fell swoop.
I will be short and sweet here: There is no silver bullet. No 'one fell swoop' strategy. It takes a lot of planning (many swoops), and a lot of work to get a muse established and running. Ideas are all over the place, getting things done is a far harder side. Plan on failing. Plan on failing again, then fail some more. Just never make the same mistakes twice, and eventually you will end up with a productive muse.

Hehe. We could all talk in acronyms and sound like Robin Williams from Good Morning Viet Nam. The wiki page is great and all, but try googleing CRM. The metrics of the internet really mean that if you confuse one person who mentions it, you are confusing 1,000 who don't, and just click away.

Honestly,
People who read the book and think they can just throw few things together, pay for some adwords and then think they can start making 10K a month are in for failure.
As is the usual with such posts, I'd say take your time to test your product. Is there demand for it, etc. The easiest way is to create a product that people desperately want. I learned that the hard way. My first muse, for which the product isnt even ready yet and with minimal promotion has potential advance sales that tell me it will be really successful. Why? Cause there is huge demand and almost no competition, other than free resources.
I recruited an expert to help me make the product and that sells like hot cakes.
My second muse, is using dropshipping and even with lots of promotion hasn't picked up at all after a month. The reason - lots of competition that has created trust in the consumers eyes and high ticket products that people need lots of time to decide to buy. It takes time to create a presence in the marketplace.
It is good that you put a deadline though. I think that you can at least develop and test your product for 2 months, but it will take a while longer to get the marketing right and have everything be a smooth sail.
Good luck.
