Hi Everybody

I was first introduced to Tim's book about 8 months ago, since then I have tried to get a few things off the ground - both on and off line - but apart from the learning experience I have not had much monetary success.

By way of a wee introduction of myself, I’m a 24 year old Irishman living in Sweden.

I never made it to college, couldn't really decide what to study so I did a bit of travelling instead. I've always been into money and business though, I bought my first investment at 21 and have ran and managed a few business too, both my own and others. Times were good back then and I couldn't put a foot wrong. Or so I thought.

I decided to go big. I put in to much money and borrowed even more. And ended up losing it all.

That was over two years ago, it gave my confidence a big knock and it has taken awhile to get my mojo back. Financially I'm still not over it. On top of the debt, Ireland’s economy has taken a nose dive in the last year and the European Central Bank keeps raising interest rates like its going out of fashion. It was the love of a woman that brought me to Sweden but it also came with a cut in income and Sweden’s famous tax rates.

Recently I've found a new motivation that has really come and kicked me up the ass. My parents have fallen on tough times. And as I'm sure everybody feels about their own parents -They Desiver Better Than This Sh1t! So I'm back on the horse and ready to race.

These are my Ideas (If you think they are good please doing steal them.)

* I learnt a brilliant method of increasing your credit card limit quite substantially (like from 1,000 to 100,000) It’s entirely legal and the idea is not to get into debt but as a type of bridging finance and such. I though it could make a good ebook/report.

* A sort of forum for Muay Thai fighters (or other displines) to find other fighters all over Europe and arrange fights and competitions. I think that since flights in Europe are now pretty cheap and fighters are travelling more that this could be a good website but I'm not sure how to make money from it. Subscription or advertising / adsense.

* A blog or ebook/report for people moving to Sweden. There are quite a few people that move here for love or work but I don’t really know how big the market is and if they would pay.

* An ebook on how to start your own mobile or shopping centre base carwash - valeting business. I once had such a business and there are alot of franchises out there charging ridicules fees for what is essentially a very easy business. There is however similar products out there.

I've taken a bit of a risk putting my ideas out there so please don't take advantage.

Now I know a lot of what I need to know could be sorted out by testing but money is tight and out of necessity I've given myself quite a short time frame to reach my first goal. - Be able to send €1500 home to mammy every month by my 25th Birthday, the 13th September.

This is where I'm hoping everybody on this forum will come in. I'm about as technical as a shovel and this making money on the internet thing kinda goes a bit over my head so I really want all the advice and encouragement I can get. Especially from those that have been there, done that and are wearing the t-shirt.

Let me know which ideas you think are most promising and any other advice, feedback you can offer and I promise the next time your in Sweden I'll buy you a drink.

I would focus on a particular market. Remember the market is the first thing and then the product. Second, I would reread the last blog Tim post. It has some extensive information on it. Furthermore, I would make sure not to invest too much into any one business, just in case you need to bail. There are no securities in life and many have made it with nothing and many have made it with money already in the bank. I like the credit card idea, does that work in the US?

Keep us up 2 date my Irish friend,

Jose

I didnt even read all your ideas... sorry.

BUT, this one:
" * I learnt a brilliant method of increasing your credit card limit quite substantially (like from 1,000 to 100,000) It’s entirely legal and the idea is not to get into debt but as a type of bridging finance and such. I though it could make a good ebook/report. "

Just write the report! Do it today. Write it now.
Don't wait... ideas are easy, as you already know.
Action is what it takes... if you never take action
you will never, ever, ever make it... period.

You have 2 options for this Report. Market it on
your own... if you know how or want to learn how.

OR, go to the warrior forums (warriorforums.com)
and sell it as a PLR (Private Label Rights) report...
Which basically means that when people buy it
from you, they can put their name on it and sell
it for whatever they want... that way they have
to do the marketing... not you. You only have
to market to one group. OH, and you can also
sell it as PLR on forums.digitalpoint.com... there
are other places too... but those should get you
started.

Good luck and let us know what happens.... the
report will not be a source of ongoing income...
but the experience you'll gain will be great... and
the fact that you create it once and sell it over
and over and over again.... that rocks right!?!

OH... and go write that Report... now! haha...

Make it a great day!

If you can do some microtesting first (JFrenzel - all those microtesting posts have been rubbing off on me) and find out how much you can sell it for to consumers before giving all the rights up as PLR, then I would be inclined to do that first.

Maybe look to sell it yourself, possibly even get it on clickbank so it can be sold by affiliates and then PLR as a last resort.

I second the Warrior forum as a QUALITY resource though.

Also don't worry too much about posting up your ideas, there is a HUGE gap between someone getting hold of one of your ideas and actually having the knowledge and perseverance to make it profitable.

Good luck!

Jon :)

I decided to run with the credit card idea. I've written it out as a 3 page report and have done a landing page sales letter though I'm not entirely happy with it so I've put it up on elance to have it re-written professionally and so far the bids have been pretty reasonable.

I also set up an adwords ad just to check out how many times it gets shown and try out different keywords.

I have also researching your PLR suggestion shanerbock. Not entirely sure on how I would price it if I went that route? Would it be better to put a cap on the number of buyers - make it more exclusive?

I am still interested in marketing it myself though I haven't decided anything yet I think it would be a skill that would stand to me in the future.

dO YOU MIND INCLUDING THE LINK TO YOUR SITE.
We can give you great suggestions. I usually try to put myself in the buyers or prospects seat and figure out if your copy is good.
Also, I'd put in some fluff in that 3 page report. I mean paying even $20 for a 3 page report is kinda weird. Maybe you can include some free bonuses, etc, etc and make it at least 20 pages.
Maybe you can research how to lower your monthly interest, etc. Just something that will bring value to the product at minimal investment to you.

You might want to think how your method is going to work for different people. You are going to have a high rate of returns if your product doesn't work for the majority of people. Remember credit scores, different countries, etc etc. Plus, I imagine credit card companies are a little stricter now than they used to be.
