Well I wanted to get the feedback from the forum. I have heard some awesome ideas exchanged back and forth. Therefore I now consider this forum a resource from which we should all help each other.

Here it is;

I have a tree company that cuts down tress. There is always a demand for this in Texas, b/c with the storms you constantly have trees being knocked down. Anyhow, I want to get a 1-800 and want to have a person available 24/7 and sch appts. I think this company can be 100% automated...Not too sure but, I have 2 subs that run 4-5 crews each, so the man power is never an issue. Is there a way to have a company handle these incoming calls and then contact my subs? Anybody aware of one that offers spanish & english speaking agents?

My other question was how would I generate enough leads, I personally thought a Google Adwords campaign would be my best bet. Thoughts on that? I figured since I started this company while I was in my younger 20s I might as well make it pay dividends for a while.

Any suggestions would be great. I need this to be 100% automated and still generate lots of traffic.

Thanks:D

This one looks pretty easy to automate. It also looks pretty easy to get undercut by your crews. I am sure they don't just sit around all day waiting for your calls (do they?).

Outsourced phone banks are all over. Just google what you want, and you will find whatever you need. Then work with the company and you are good to go. Set up a list or a directory of protocols and things should run smoothly.

By protocols, I mean a series of YES/NO questions:

1. Are you in Texas? If YES: go to #2, if NO go to #6

2. What city are you in? City 1 refer to company A, city 2refer to company B

3. How big is the tree you need removed?

4. Are there any obstructions we should know about?

5. Thank the customer, tell them to expect a call back within 20 minutes with a time, and hang up. Call company A of B, and set up the time.

6. Say, "Beat it! we don't serve your kind!", and hang up fast.

That is just a bit of stuff off the top of my head.

This might be a good task to ask AskSunday to provide for you (i.e., to find this listing of companies that do this call center type of work). Perhaps ask them for local companies you can work with (they're more likely to speak spanish anyway, right?).

How large of an area do you cover? Are your customers primarily residential, commercial or is it an even mix of both? How many calls do you really get in the middle of the night or do the bulk of the calls come during the day? How many calls do you average a day?
