I met these guys at TECH Cocktail (http://techcocktail.com) in Chicago at the end of May. I've fallen in love with the community they've created.

The name is crowdSPRING and can be found at http://www.crowdspring.com.

FOR PEOPLE IN NEED OF CREATIVE WORK: If you need logo, website design, blog theme design, business card design, entire brand identity packages, etc., you (1.) post a project and set the price, (2.) the creative community on crowdSPRING begins working on the project and you see the work they've done (3.) you get to choose the entry you like best

FOR CREATIVES: You can have fun, get experience and get paid by participating in any of the projects that are posted. You DO NOT have to be a professional designer. The man who created crowdSPRING's logo was a janitor from Canada.

It's similar to eLance, but for creatives and there is no long process to get a project started. You set a price and artists participate. You choose the best work, not the best promise. This is for everyone's benefit...please take a look.

Take care,

Emil

All that spammage on your first post really blows your credibility dude. It is probably great service, and you seem to have some experience here, so why not try to be a productive member of the community.

I really WAS trying to be productive and helpful. This service saves people a lot of time. I am not getting paid to post this. This is not my company. I'm making a recommendation based on the principles of The 4-Hour Workweek. As a senior member, I'd love to hear your explanation of why you believe this to be spammy. If others feel the same way, I will consider deleting the post. In case you do not want to take up any more space in this forum, feel free to e-mail me at emil.wisch [at] gmail.com.

Hey emil- Sometimes we have a quick trigger regarding spam because people use the community to sell and not to be helpful. I've taken a look at the links. It doesn't appear you have a connection and it looks like you're sharing a tip. It's just helpful if first posts don't have live links in them because it makes it more difficult to determine who's spam and who's not.

Carry on.

Good deal, fair enough. Sorry to raise the red flags :)
