I would like to know if anyone can point me to where in the 4HWW tim talks about other books he read. and if you happen to know the answer already, just name the books/author

I am also interested in hearing what other books you guys are reading concerning business, marketing, automation, etc

Here is a list of "Restricted Reading" (http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/bonus/pdf/restrictedreading.pdf) that Tim has on his website. Off-hand, they're the only books that I can think of him suggesting. I don't have my book to look through, at the moment, though.

I have and have read the How to License Your Million Dollar Idea by Harvey Reese. I greatly enjoyed it, but never made myself sit down and actually work through the process.

I am currently reading through Blue Ocean Strategy by W Chan Kim.

Has anyone read any of the other books suggested by Tim in the book? I'm not really concerned with any business related stuff because I feel it would probably hamper action on muses since they'd probably pull me down different directions.

I was thinking of getting some of the other books, like the Vagabonding one.

HaHa,

I just got Vagabonding!!!! My best friend got it for me, it was the last book of the four that he recommended. I just started reading it, but can tell you that it is a great book so far. Also, have you read the Secret?

Hope that helps

Jose

Also, have you read the Secret?

GAAAAAAARB
(short for garbage)

thinking positive thoughts about money will not attract money into your life from unexpected sources....

having a positive outlook on life has a lot of benefits, you cant argue that, and there's nothing wrong with being happy and thankful, but don't think you can get unexpected checks in the mail .... Its kinda voo-dooish for my tastes anyhow, childish almost, like believing in magic ala harry potter

The Secret is not a bad read. Does the law of attraction work? Possibly, will you feel better about your self and your situation after reading the book? Most definitely. Sure it is a bunch of superficial crap, but hey... If it works.

I have a huge library of self help books, and the more I read, the more I think that most new books aren't worth the paper they are printed on. Some of the garbage that has come out recently is just amazing.

There are a few books on my must read list though. They are:

1. Good To Great (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&ct=res&cd=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FGood-Great-Companies-Leap-Others%2Fdp%2F0066620996&ei=oap-SKepGoqGtAKj7oDHAg&usg=AFQjCNFD-B98A-qo3C_1AQanzHGBJBVSSA&sig2=yVloICnR717ZvBDl-JbEOQ). Incredible book. Getting the right people on the bus is just as important as getting the wrong people off the bus.

2. The Master Key System (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&ct=res&cd=5&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.thesecret.tv%2Ftreasures%2Feb ooks%2FMaster-Key-System.pdf&ei=06p-SJ_TA6HOswKytoCzAg&usg=AFQjCNF3IYBRDUmk__fUVwEklTahtO06VQ&sig2=9fuNqMaZxkmHc276C2YvNw). Interesting. A google of the title brought up a while pdf copy for your reading pleasure. Here is a quote that describes exactly why I recommend the book:
There is another psychological fact which is well known, but unfortunately, reading about it will not bring about any result which you may have in mind; it will not even help you to form the mental image, much less bring it into manifestation. Work in necessary - labor, hard mental labor, the kind that of effort which so few are willing to put forth.

This is soo true, especially here on this forum where there are so many perple looking for the secret to a life free of toils and monitary concerns.

3. Pizza Tiger (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&ct=res&cd=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FPizza-Tiger-Thomas-Monaghan%2Fdp%2F0394553594&ei=xqx-SIPtMpng6QPu1-nFBw&usg=AFQjCNFZgFMb49SF3tPcn7B8XKp3cX2Rbw&sig2=wYQCvDeWFgU8ViZktnRr6A). This one is probably my favorite autobiography. Those of you who know me know why I loive the subject. If you think you have faced challenges, read this book. Tom went from living in an orphanage to building the biggest pizza delivery chain in the world, and his stories are amazing.

4. Any book by Harvey Mackay (http://www.harveymackay.com/). His stuff is usually so obvious that I find myself thinking over and over, "Why didn't I think of that, and why don't I do it more often." Harvey's stuff is pretty old, so you should be able to find it very cheaply at any used book shop as well.

**Disclaimer: All links proveded were set up by my publicist, and will generate an unending stream of free money for me. You see they have these numbers in them, and anythinhg with a number means free money for me. Oh Man! If it wasn't for the internet, I would have to make my money schlepping pizzas or something. Please click them often and frequently**

Good to great was a wonderful book. Listened to the audiobook a few years ago.

Vagabonding is definitely a must read for anyone who plans to travel. It'll save you effort, energy, time, and if you can minimize your travel gear down to a carry on size bag, those accursed airlines will never lose your luggage.

Even if you don't plan to travel, apply some of the stuff to your home life and it'll make you ask yourself "how much of this crap do I really need." For the past month I've been listing stuff here and there on ebay, just downsizing and reducing and it really is nice not to have piles of clutter.
