Ok..

A few days ago, I posted a thread that got deleted and even led to the message about "no marketing here".

While I respect the decision, I have to say I did not want to market any product, but reviewed a tool made by a friend.

Does it cost money? Yep.
Do I get a cut? Yes, this is internet marketing after all.

Anyhow.
I did not want to annoy the forum admin or any user, and I do value this community. I will continue to help in any SEO aspects or questions, so feel free to ask me for advice.

I will also introduce you to my blog:
BlindApeSEO.com (http://www.blindapeseo.com)

now before this gets pulled for "too much marketing", please take a look at it. All of the content on the blog is free.
There are tons of links to free SEO resources, free icon sets, Website scripts, etc..

And yes, that dreaded review is on there as well ;)

A link to your blog is fine (I took a look). And if your post/thread was deleted, it's often not just because me or Marcie flagged it, it's because the membership brought it to the attention of the moderators because THEY felt it was not in the spirit of the group. Usually, it's more than one member reporting a post. Which I appreciate. Many whose posts are deleted are spammers and figuring out which ones are and aren't isn't always easy. Some are obvious, others walk that gray line. But affiliate links are not allowed at all on this forum. Period.

It's always in someone's best interest to take a look around first. But regrouping and coming back with an attitude of contribution does earn you another chance. We look forward to what you have to offer.

I moderate another forum and it's sometimes very hard to draw that line - the moderators on here do a fantastic job - so thank you!
