So.... a little over a week ago, I got Tim's book. Remember how he said go on that media fast and don't read any other non-fiction, etc? Well, I should have listened...
Late last week, I went to the Millionaire Mind Intensive (MMI) by Peak Potentials Training (the free event from "Secrets of The Millionaire Mind" by T. Harv Ecker) in Atlanta, GA. I was all fired up from reading 4HWW and everything, but thought I'd go to this other event for dealing with finances.
Let me just say that was a terrible idea. I loved the event, but let me just say it was absolutely the most INTENSE event ever in my life. They pumped you up up up, and now that the 3 day event is over, I feel like I've crashed through the floor. It is terrible. I had this awesome idea for a muse, but somehow it got lost in the scrambling of my brain that was the MMI.
I just hope I can regain my muse that I had. It truly was an awesome idea. Should have written it down.

Always carry a small note pad or recorder with you. If you get an idea jot it down or record it right away. Even if you don't get it to it until a few years later at least it's been captured. I use an Olympus digital recorder I picked up at Best Buy.

I have a windows mobile 6 pocket pc phone for random thoughts :)
Also as I'm a software tester I carry a Moleskin notebook around with me for random brainstorms/notes/questions/ideas.
Well worth the investment!

Alway get everything down on paper right away.. Keeping all your ideas, chores, to-do list all bottled in your head can cause extra stress, not to mention you can forget things.

Yes, I definitely will do that... thanks for the wonderful advice.
So many ideas swirling around in my head today.
One awesome thing that has come from reading this book was the ability to convince myself to talk to a doctor about getting LASIK. I went this morning and talked to the doctor who told me I was not a candidate at all. I'm having contact lens implants instead.

Contact lens implants! I never heard of that. So what's all that about, I assume they surgically put contact lens in you but what if you need a higher prescription down the road?
I also wasn't a candidate for lasek. :(

I haven't heard of that either!
Write your ideas down - I keep a spreadsheet and do little pre-tests with the google estimator. If you want more info let me know :)

Contact Lens Inplants (according to my doctor) are easily removable so you don't even know you've got them. They cut small slits in your eye and inplant basically a contact lens. It's about 3mm thick, they told me. You never feel them and they're a permanent replacement for glasses. Very expensive, though (I was quoted $4500) and still not covered by any insurances.

Sorry we're a little off-topic, but did he say why you were not a lasic candidate? You might want a second opinion...:/

It's ok.... I think the topic was done anyways...
I am VERY nearsighted so that was the reason they gave. I mean, my prescription is like -14. It is bad... I'm just so tired of contacts and glasses. I'm 23 years old and have been wearing them for 17 years....

most cell phones these days have little voice recorders. That's what I use in an emergency. I've hear of other people who will call there house and leave the message on their home answering machine.
Don't lose those good ideas!

I've called my voicemail and left my a message in a pinch and I've also used the memo feature of my cell. Both work out great!
