I know the rules... but I also know I need to ween myself in to the whole mini-retirement thing... So I spent my first vac. in 10 years as a mini-retirement test... and damn it, my DVD company didn't need me once...

It was only a week, but the editor made changes that are awesome, the VA made a few judgement calls that I didn't agree with, but can live with easy enough.

On the other side of things, I can't seem to find enough to do while out and about. Maybe it's just a Destin, FL thing, but it's really hard to find enough to do after doing nothing but work all the time...

Its a hard lesson, but I'll keep learning it :)

Well done!

If you find some emptyness, do not fill it up straight away!

Tip: Buy a boat. A wooden one. And old too. Very quicly you'd wish you could turn your workweek around: Work 2 days at the weekend and 5 days on the boat.

Mmm, there is a lesson in this for me too!

Learn a different language. Help others to do well in their companies,

Do brazilian jiu-jitsu, I promise you will be sore and not so anxious afterwards....

During my first ever two week (straight) vacation back in Feburary my business had its record month.

That made me understand that I don't need to be nailed to my desk to keep the business running. The proof is it did better than ever while I was away for two week out of four.

I'm never going back to jail (10 hour work day)

I love it.
