Hi all,

I am trying to find someone to write a business plan (outsource to professionals).

It is a hardware retail store (tools, nails, timber, hammers, etc), and I have around 250 pages of benchmarking (+ a whole lot more info in that 250 pages) which can be used as background.

Cost is not of a massive concern. But quality is..... since I will be borrowing money based on the business plan (yes a bank will lend on this biz due to turnover).

Think high quality of 40+ pages or so...

And not boiler plated either....

I am thinking of Elance.... Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Rgds.

I have to pass on this one. Been studying up on my Carnegie (thanks Tim).

Although if anyone with a post count over 100 wants to know what I really think, let me know.

Would that be along the lines that if you call yourself ProInvestor, that you would be able to do a business plan yourself and know that you NEED to do it yourself?

Or that high quality does not combine wit 40 pages?

Or that high quality will have its price?

Or it can not have turned in to an emergency?

My thoughts,

Business plans are overrated and I would might consider seeing if you can open a hardware store online. What if you only had $5k how then would you open the store. Just my thoughts, I have always thought of staying ahead, rather than catching up to pay bank loans. I own a concrete co. and dont own one piece of equip. And this is my job...its possible.

Oh yeah Elance rocks, dont even second guess em, Tim F. uses em come on... Have faith....

Business plans are overrated ...

Failing to plan is the same as planning to fail

I think I have an ebook someone gave me for doing this. I wrote a critique to improve her sales letter and since it worked, she sent me a copy.

I think a business plan is a great idea. Over 90% of website businesses fail due to lack of planning. People don't find a target market, they don't position their product and they expect people to find them and just know what the site is about.
